Hello,

I'm on a quest to further improve the drive-ability of my coupe (I've already got a ZF4HP gearbox from GWAuto's, very nice :-D) and I'm looking into the possibility of utilizing a series 3 inlet manifold (I have 1 in the shed) along with ignition based on a trigger wheel set-up.

I have seen a description (photo's now deleted) on another forum where megasquirt was used with EDIS to run an XJ6 4.2 series 3. There appears to be a good discussion on the e-type forum for the electronic ignition side, especially a kit that used to be available.

I'm half interested in using Coil on Plug, if the COP's are fairly small/tidy. I like the channel between cam housings being fairly open and clean.

Is there anyone that has experience of installing this type of set up.

Looking forward to any pointers, hints, pros/cons, etc.
