Surely wouldn't have a gunk kit with a spare wheel ? Sport brake has a large rubber covered box that houses the compressor for the rear suspension.

Phil, some people who had the gunk kit as standard fitted the spare as an aftermarket, so it is quite possible that both could be in the boot, without the relevant information we can only guess. Phil

It's the subwoofer box. I changed my white gunk kit for the spacesaver and it remains in both fits.

I altered mine from gunk kit to spacesaver, it cost me £800 with e-bay parts and JLR discount, it is not a cheap conversion.

The boot floor needs to be replaced at £180 as it is thinner with the space saver. Beware that the saloon uses a different spacesaver. The Sportbrake is bigger.
