Recently had all chains, tensioners, waterpump, thermostat changed, jag tech on test drive mentioned car running slightly flat, put it down to after market air filter, now back to OE, cars seems to pick up better!!! BUT, has cut out/stalled at speed on 8-9 occasions now, and thoughts? throttle body ??????

I had an issue with my first xk8 identical to this and it was the throttle body. First clean it out to remove any carbon deposits that can make it stick shit on deceleration but if this fails a new throttle body is the most common answer. jaguar did do a recall on these back in 2007 or so and compensated people who had paid for one through their dealer network (they are 800 quid plus fitting) so worth asking if this still applies before sorting a decent second hand replacement which can cost as little as 100 quid.
