Steering wheel cowls loose

sorry to jump in on this post but rather than start another thread thought id ask on here, quite hard to explain but the black ribbed cover that covers the steering assembly behind the steering wheel and below the dash, mine has come lose and its quite fiddly to put back trying to get behind the wheel and feed it back in through the gap, has anyone got any tips on how to do this? its bugging me as it looks tacky,
