The throttle pedal on my 1967 Mk2 3.4 has recently become stiff so that smooth throttle opening is near impossible. It was dead smooth up to now. Any advice/suggestions please?
Yes, thanks, I did just that and found most of the bits and oiled/greased them. The joint behind the pedal itself seems to need most attention as there is s sort of roller that rides up and down behind the organ pedal style accelerator. Any way it is much better now!Its a fairly simple linkage although a little more complicated if its an auto wih the DG Gearbox as ther is a rod that runs fown to the box for kickdown.
SNG Barratt have diagrams of the linkages of the different types on their website which might help to locate the issue.
