Sounds like a blocked drain. Check under the bonnet where screen meets the skuttle and check the drain.

Had the same problem when I owned my X Type. I found the membrane behind the interior rear door card was damaged at the bottom and used some duct tape and silicone to reseal it to the door and it solved the problem for good.

I've recently had mine remedied , blocked drain hole & tube in sunroof. Nothing in comparison to leaks from a previous TD5 discovery.
Any tips on how to clear this?

A long plastic coated wire clothes hanger gently pushed through the sunroof drain holes and down their hoses normally does it Neil.

If you can hook up a garden hose to a small adapter and wash them through after then so much the better.

I think there are 2 holes and tubes, 1 each side at the front.

I have found a bike brake/gear cable best for clearing drain holes.

Thanks for the tips - I was thinking plastic strimmer wire so something along those lines should do.

I'm not 100% sure but the S-Type might have 4 holes, one at each corner?
