Hi, I have just joined the forum. It is also the first time that I have sat in (and the first of owning) a Jag since my dad's Mark IV. I still remember the number plate AFK 987. I have a Jaguar XF 250 R-Sport, 250 BHP, Petrol (Oh the shame - NOT!). Had an issue with the low battery warning since November 2020, but thanks to this forum that is now solved. I love it. Have only done 400 miles but what fun this car is. Not as fast as a Vauxhall Safira or a Transit (according to the rear view mirror) but a really nice drive. Had a few issues with Jaguar at first, mainly regarding registering the car with them, InControl ( a bloody joke that name), Here, which is nowhere, and the nightmare of setting up the SIM in the car. Hey ho - early days and now all is fine. Our last car was a late Citroen C5, and that had enough computer systems to land on the moon. But this beast is in another world.

Thanks Wing. Our car is called William. After William Lyons. I forgot to mention that. Cars and ships need to have names. It makes them behave better and look after you.

Just joined and purchased my first Jag, a 2015 AWD XJR Portfolio. Excited to learn the ins and outs of the car and car maker.

Hi all, I have just acquired a XK8 1999 and I am very happy with it. It's my first 8 cylinder car! I joined the forum because of the good tips and advises on older Jaguars, especially rust related...

Evening all...I'm joining you from Dartford, Kent as an avid Jaguar driver. Car history includes a 2003 S-Type 4.2 which started the Jaguar love affair, 2009 XFS 3.0D and a 2017 F-Pace S 3.0D. Today I picked up my 1995 Daimler Double Six and after driving 150 miles in it I am beyond pleased.
