According to the handbook, when the engine is warm after a run, switch off,leave to stand for 5 mins [10-15 in my experience], press start button, without having your foot on the brake and run through the options as you describe.In addition to the ones you say, there should be the oil can and level option or a message saying, information unavailable, refer to handbook. This usually indicates that not enough time has elapsed since switching the engine off, to obtain a reading, in which case leave a while longer and try again. My car has the same 3.0 l engine as yours , ony in 275 bhp form.Not sure about the touch screen setting, should not be needed for this.
