Trip 2 should keep your long term mpg and it’s normal to shut off the throttle and get 99+ mpg then go back to normal after a few hours, most of my diesel cars do the same. Skoda, Xf and insignia
XF trip computer glitch
Anyone had it before on their Xf or indeed any jag where the MPG and average speed reset itself?
driving on the A14 this morning following a car doing around 38mpg I look down about a minute later and I’m doing 99.9mpg apparently with an average speed of 99.9 then after a minute it started to come down but it’s still way to high. It has screwed with my long term MPG though I thought it was rather funny at the time
