Dear All,
I have had a few classic Mercedes in the past but am new to Jaguar, therefore, any assistance will be appreciated.
Recently I have managed to buy a 1983 XJS which comes with a full TWR kit (body kit, steering wheel, suspension, exhaust, and a set of speedline wheels in 16in). The car seems to be in good condition with very minor surface rust on the engine bay area. The car has only done 54K miles and belongs to 1 owner before. However, as the car has not practically been driven for the last 5 years, I think I will be better off doing some basic restoration before I really use it for daily purpose.
What I have purchased so far is a coolant hoses kit and a head gasket rebuilt kit. What I will look for from now will be as follow:
1. suspension bushing kit
2. fuel lines hoses kit
3. water pump + thermostat
4. gasket kit
Now, can anyone help by suggesting me where / which shops I can possibly obtain all these parts?
Please help if you have any suggestion to me too.
