I have a 1997 XK8 and the drivers window has stopped working. You can hear a click in the door module when using the switch, so I have changed the regulator motor, but still the same.
I then tried the motor on the passenger side and it worked.
I have checked the voltage in the passenger connector and the drivers side and they are the same
Am now confused as the motor works in the passenger side, but not the drivers side....yet all voltages are the same side to side

Try disconnecting the driver door module and then reconnecting. If that doesn’t work then it could either be the module itself, the movement sensor or possibly wiring / ground fault.
