I've had the XF for a month or so, and so far its been almost faultless, apart from a slightly annoying occasional squeak from the rear seat when No. 2 son is in residence...
I have noticed a strange issue with the suspension however, I tend to drive it in Dynamic mode all the time as I like a firm ride (fnaaar), but when I have to navigate the smaller type of traffic calming it producers a pronounced double thump on each axle, I thought I'd bottomed the car out when I first did it but there's no sign of any impact on the bottom of the car at all, it's much less pronounced in normal mode.
Is this a known design feature, a fault or what?
Any ideas?
If it's just what the car does, that's ok.
Really enjoying the car so far, first Jag I've owned and it's well good.
