Hello I am currently having an issue with my drivers seat. It will not move, up,down, forwards or backwards. The lumbar support still inflates, when I press memory recall buttons the steering wheel still moves into position but seat does not move (Mirrors do not move either but I had to replace one of my mirrors about 10 years ago, if i remember correctly{not sure I do} I replaced it with a mirror without a memory function, the mirrors still operate normally by using the door switch) So i am left thinking it is likely my drivers seat control module? Could the memory module also effect this? What about the seat potentiometer? Seat is currently stuck in far back and low down position. After researching I am most inclined to believe the Seat Module is the likely culprit however i do not want to shell out $150+ for a used seat module if that isn't the issue, i also don't want to pay Ford or Jaguar $150+ to diagnose the issue as that will require doing the same work twice. *Also, is it possible to remove this module without removing the seat?* thanks*2000 s-type 3.0 w/ memory**I have checked fuses and all seem fine*

If it won't move its going to be difficult to remove the 6 retaining bolts but see if that's possible first then hopefully you'll find a loose plug. If not then I believe the seat modules are identical so you can do a right-left swap to confirm if the module is OK. I'm assuming the fuses are good!
The seat to floor bolts. On mine there's 4 at the rear and two at the front on each seat, torx size.. errr 25 or 30 IIRC. If you can't swap out a module then its fingers crossed on a broken wire or loose plug at the seat or module. Fuses checked?
