Searched around a bit and it seems that most Jaguar XF reversing cameras have the guidelines unless it was a retrofit and not "programmed" by Jaguar as being there, or the Jag garage feature has somehow been deleted? Might be worth a chat with the local dealer.
The manual doesn't mention an option for taking the lines off and on so can't help much I'm afraid, sorry.
My 2008 doesn't, those lines, to me, serve no purpose and are more irritating than a dose of herpes. If a garage added them to mine as an update, they would be told to reverse it or the bill wouldn't be paid.
Mine too is 2008 and does not have the yellow lines. Absolutely nothing to do with retro-fit, mine is factory fit. I have not seen it on any car registered before "09" registration although it is in the 2008 handbook, it looks like this might be one of those occasions where the dealer is correct .
My XFR has a VX58 registration (reg Nov 2008 so nearly 2009) and I've since found out that this means it was originally registered to Jaguar (pre-production model I think). The first service stamp was at Gaydon. I guess this means the car might have had a hard time in its early life. I haven't been able to find it in any road tests in magazines or on the web although a few other VX plates appear in them. It's all fully serviced and just over 70k on the clock...okay so far after the first 6 months.
