I could have sworn this was already in our Stickies but I couldn't find it today.

V6 engines:

Bank 1 is Left as you face the car looking into the engine bay.

Cylinder 1 is always front left for all cars looking from this position but pre-2002.5 engines differ for the other cylinders.

Diesel is also V6 built 2004 onwards.
