I'm considering replacing the wiper blades on my 2007 3ltr S Type with the Bosch Aerotwin with integrated washer fluid jet and would be interested to know if this is an easy fit and has anyone has any issues using them.

Bosch are very expensive and no longer as good as they used to be.
I would stick to what you have as you can easily use lots of different manufacturers rather than just limiting yourself to one..

I tried a pair and the water only dribbled out the spray bar, so I sent them back. Other people have said they worked for them so maybe I got a bad pair, or they have improved.
The standard Jaguar ones use a wet clip by Trico and work great. You can buy just the Trico rubber from Jaguar and re-do the blades.
Trico sell a retrofit flat blade that works with the standard wet clip too. Trico Neo form 24" and 19".
Once you take the wet clip off you have a standard hook arm.

Jaguar factory fit Trico Blades (the Jaguar sticker on the packaging.........'.Made in Mexico to Jaguar Specification.) The blades WITH SPRAYBAR and a few fittings, are 24" and 18/19". Your local A2Z spares shop will have them and they are easy to fit.
Or how about these:- https://www.wiperblades.co.uk/jaguar-s-type-years-2002-to-2008-wiper-blades
Tell Jaguar to stick their ÂŁ70 up their jacksy.

Thank you for that. I looked at the Trico ones last night but as I picked up the Bosch ones for ÂŁ25 including delivery I'm going to try those first and will but the Trico Force ones if they don't work out.
Just as well as this morning my blades had given up the ghost and weren't clearing the window at all on this frosty morning

The only issue I've had with blades (Bosch) is that it lifts the arm a few mm's causing the arm to contact the bonnet on the drivers side, so check that. The arms can be 're-arranged' so that they don't hit the bonnet. The bonnet washer jets are rubbish on these cars at high speed, the ejected jet of water gets blown down which is probably why they went to wiper washers. I'm Interested to see if they can be swapped over.

Are you sure that the wiper arm was not already in the wrong position? When I swapped to the flat wipers from the old-fashioned ones, I had no problems. I think they were actually lower but that was a long time ago so things are a bit hazy there.

Bonnet jets are absolutely fine at speed when new. Mine did get worse over time and after about 10 years I took them off but I couldn't get the fine jets cleaned well. I replaced them with new ones and they were back to full strength again.

That's handy to know that the jets can work well. Time for an overhaul then... Added to the list! As for the arm? Who knows? It was 5 owners deep when I got it.

IIRC, if the blades come to rest where the heating elements are, the angle of the arm is about OK.

It would be good to know the correct distance of the drivers arm at the centre from the windscreen with standard wipers on. Would eliminate any doubt that someone has been bending on it!

I know mine are hybrid wipers but they sit about the same as the standard setup using the same wet clip.
Distance from glass to top of blade where the lowest point of the arm is 28mm.
And they are mostly hidden on a 2005+ car.
Thanks for that. Think mine have been bent, at least I have something to work with. Cheers.
