I need some advice on how to remove the ignition barrel.
I've made a very stupid error, after reading several threads about seats not moving back when ignition key removed I decided to put a very small amount of oil onto the ignition barrel gate and I pushed it open slightly using the small plastic straw that comes with a can of WD40, well the gate closed onto the plastic straw and as I pulled it out (stupid I know) a very small piece has broken off inside the barrel and I cannot get it out (I cant even see it now)
I've dismantled the steering column trim and unplugged the barrel but I cannot see how it is fixed in place (and it feels very secure)
This has to be the best way to ruin a bank holiday weekend
