If you Google topix.jaguar, register and input your vin number, you will get a printout of all the original features for your car at the time of manufacture. Hope this helps.

Ah nuts you reminded me I will have to get the font license plate mount my state requires a front plate as well. So much for clean lines! I does look good too!

Yes we have the wheel on the wrong side by we drive on the right side of the road!

So does it say it has adaptive headlights (they steer around corners I think)? Does it have the lighted sill plates? I ask because I literally JUST bought this car and it is being shipped to me 2400 miles across the country and I don't have it yet. The dealer was not a Jaguar dealer so knew little about the actual car.

Also what does "TELEVISION" mean? Does that just refer to the front in-dash radio display?

 

Yes. Pretty sure you have 'bending' headlights with high beam assist. You have the illumination pack which is vents and tread plates in cool blue. Unsure about television as it says 'less television receiver'. Maybe it means you can only watch dvd or usb media. But it might just less for rear seats only and available in front screen.

I got the Jag delivered to my door on Friday morning. I am very happy with it but it has a few condition issues. It was cleaned VERY badly with I think a motorized polisher and has swirl marks in a few places. The body itself seems perfect no dents, door dings or anything of that kind at all. A friend of mine is a professional detailer and will detail the entire car for around $100. He will get it as good as it is able so I feel comfortable letting him have it for a day. It also has no owner's manual or any documentation at all that originally came with it. So I bought an entire pack off ebay for $50. Another issue I am not sure about is the hood latches. The drivers side is very firm, you cannot push down on the hood once it is latched. But the passenger's side clicks, but you can press down about an inch. Almost like it is a two stage latch and the 2nd phase isn't working. I'll have Jaguar look at that since it is under warranty. The more puzzling issue is the mismatching of wood on the interior door panels. The two rear doors and the front passenger door match - all wood grained. But the driver's door is burl and different from the other 3. Is this how it is supposed to be or has someone replaced that panel?

Anyway I took it out for around 50 miles yesterday and really am loving it!

The first is the drivers door. All of the other panels look like the 2nd along with all the wood under the windscreen across the front of the dash.

 

Definitely something wrong with the driver door wood. Lovely on its own of course, in fact if it were me, I'd like all the other wood the same as that ! However something has obviously happened to cause that change.

 

Yeah the driver's door looks like the elm burl. There is a complete set on ebay right now for $1300. Dealers lie so I don't think I will ever find out what happened that this was replaced. Oh well.

 

Also the driver's door says "Meridian Surround" and the other doors just say "Meridian". I mean it isn't a mystery I doubt this came from the factory this way. Something happened to the original one. Who knows what. Could have been an accident, could have just been scratched up. Whoever fixed it put on what they had probably a salvage yard piece and I suspect not even the same year.
