Hi.

I test drove a 17 plate 3l diesel today and wow, I loved it. I have just sold a 335d, also 17 plate but this felt special in comparison.

The problem is the mechanic in our street said the neighbours car spend so much time with him, electrics, locks, aircon and all expensive repairs.

Is there basis in this or does my neighbour just have a duff one? Thing is the last thing I want is constant repair bills coming from a very reliable beemer.

It has full dealer history so not worried about its past.

Hey Steve, welcome aboard

The XF is a great car, we have the XF260 on a 17 plate in the 2.0d variant, Tress loves it.

The 3.0d is a good powerplant and works well in the XF, just bear in mind regular oil changes ( all very easily done from the top of the engine bay )

Service it regularly and look after it, she'll serve you well I'm sure.........a nice place to be.
