This has surfaced on Autotrader. Very pretty, but pricey, and interestingly doesn't say FSH...

In the corner in the valley below?Mine is just out of sight around the corner lol.
Doesn't look bad (and a 2017 so no punitive road tax). Is there a back story to it?One for the unwary

I have to be careful as to what I say, I am on this forum as a Jaguar enthusiast, who happens to work at a Jaguar dealership.Good to see the selling dealer (I assume) on the forum. As you've seen, some of us think it may be a bit on the expensive side so wondered if you could educate us on how the price was arrived at? Perhaps there are similar 575s that have sold for around that? Would be good to understand this better so we can re-calibrate the prices of our own vehicles. Perhaps we are too negative about their worth...
It's an interesting point, as all we do is input the registration number, and Auto Trader pull through their description.Yes, I know that it is correct - but the car is badged as an "XJR575" - what is good enough for Jaguar's PR department is surely good enough for a seller?
Many, many XJR575 ads say 575PS, yours is an outlier. Maybe that is good advertising though, as it makes it stand out!
(PS - good luck with the sale)
(PPS - no offence intended nor implied)
That is the very car that I was referring to in my recent reply, apologies that I had not seen that someone had already spotted it.One for the unwary

Aha. So the "twonk" in question is the Autotrader ad machine. Phew. It's an interesting point, as all we do is input the registration number, and Auto Trader pull through their description.
In this case, they find the correct '575' designation, but show the power output in BHP, rather than 'PS'
What is more puzzling is the number of 'non 575' XJR's that I have seen on Autotrader at various times showing the correct XJR description but wrongly showing 575PS as the power output.
@TheVoices2 many thanks for that advice/explanation. They are rare cars (575s); I waited over a year to find one. The grey XJR on Autotrader has also 'borrowed' the "car comes with" details straight off the 575 spec sheet....That is the very car that I was referring to in my recent reply, apologies that I had not seen that someone had already spotted it.
