The Xjr is quite something, four seats, four doors and indecently rapid, enjoy and stick around.

Cant read the history but seems quite fairly priced for a dealer.

Prices are falling. I cant see the 575's really being considered as a must have future classic. Why pay a premium over the 'standard' XJR? I think they will be well under ÂŁ30k before long.

Now with pics.. Grey and black combo. Bonnet shut lines look a bit off (left vs right) or could be my imagination!
I had a ride out on the motorbike yesterday and saw it as they have a rolls Royce phantom in too (a dream of mine!)

The car looked ok but some areas of paint needed sorting as the car looked unprepped. Interior looked a little scratched in the silver parts. One of the autotrader ads near the front wing looks like bad paint. Other cars they had in also had dodgy paint touch ups in my opinion.

They had loads of ftypes, a few xj’s including a supersport.

Younger sales lad was very natural and not pushy which I liked if I was buying a new car they did have a new Defender in too which looked good.

Is this another

It is a reasonable price, although possibly one of the less desirable colour combos. I personally think they will become collectable, in time, but we may need to wait 10 years!
These cars are to enjoy now. I have my doubts that any modern Jaguar will become collectable. What was the last really collectable Jaguar? The E-Type?

Also, modern cars are too difficult to keep running, especially with the limited support Jaguar provides, so that, and the lack of general interest in the brand, there won't be people about in 20 years time that will say that they always wanted one of those Jaguars, as they didn't notice them in the first place.

I think that there will always be interest in, and demand for, older XJ Jags. Possibly less so the X351. They may be great cars but I dont think they quite have the soul or character of the older cars. The XJ Coupe of the seventies is a beautiful thing and there is good demand for good examples. Its what I would buy were I after a classic and had somewhere to keep it.
Cars up to and including the X300 were relatively straightforward and didnt have all the networked computer gubbins, they do rust however. The later cars are going to be really hard to keep on the road in years to come. partly through lack of parts and partly because of cost and complexity. Its like the difference in keeping a Spitfire or Lancaster flying compared to the Vulcan.

Yeah they look grand in that combo. Its a bid wedge for the low miler in comparison to leggy stuff.
