I'd like that info too. Not for changing bulbs though. My front bumper has the dreaded micro-blisters and could do with a re spray. I haven't bothered up till now because it looked a bit of hassle. So please share the information you have, it will be very helpfull.
I did change my bulbs a year or so ago without problem though.
Cheers Andy

Thanks for that Buck, I have some damage very low down on mine and will be a lot easier to fix with it off the car....

If you remove the inner wing arch covers its behind there, it will become apparent when you look, I removed mine quite easily without jacking car up, little tip on reassembly the bolts that are low down by the headlights it's hard to put in. I.e can't get you hand in there, so what I did was a long socket extension with socket on it put the bolt in socket and a piece of insulating tape on edge of socket and down one side of the thread of bolt to hold it in place. Hope this helps

Finding the bolt as in drawing VUJ0000815 is a bastard. You have to feel up and around inside just below the joint between the bumper cover and the wing. Best done with the wheel over hard lock to get it as much out of the way as possible. .

Access is not easy, but I found that a 10mm ratchet ring did the job best. Then putting it back afterwards is something of a mission too . . .

My car is a 2005 V-6 2.5L with satnav and I found most of the fixings underneath rusted solid. WD-40 didn't help very much and I had to drill out the heads on 4 of the torx screws. You can get new clips from Barrett's and the bolts are just standard 6mm x 20mm, hex or torx head, doesn't matter.

NOTE:
Put coppaslip or copper ease on ALL the bolts when you replace them, to save grief in the future. At a pinch, Vaseline is OK too.

I see that RS (and probably others) sell M6 stainless steel machine screws. I think replacing the underbody fasteners with these would be a VERY GOOD IDEA

I'm sorry. I can't let this one slip by unnoticed

LMAO. :)

Before I remove my front bumper, can anyone who has done this tell me if there is any form of adjustment?
I think mine is a little too low which creates a gap between the bonnet and the grill. Although I have had the bumper removed resprayed and refitted, there was a gap there when I bought it.
Thanks.

Update.
Having removed the six bolts at the top of the bumper and the plastic trim above the rad, when I lifted the bumper up I could see that the bumper sits over the energy absorbing foam which seems to have some sort of spacer between the foam and the metal bumper. Could this have been fitted upside down or incorrectly?
Thanks

no adjustment at all.
