Not to put a downer on things, but they were shiny.
OK. Good point, well made. They weren't mine.

Rear looks different because of the sun. (... and lower resolution rear camera)

Trip back to Swansea to drop off youngest daughter.

Sure I've seen this one before, stayed with it for a few miles on the M4. Sure its been wrapped looking at it in the flesh.

Nice looking motor.

That looks like a 575, double points for you.

Good luck.
There are a lot of roads that have 6'6" width limits. As my recent experience in Wales has taught me that my car is 6"10" wide, I m avoiding those roads.

... where possible.

Eighth Three inches wide, blimey! 83” that is almost 7 feet!

I wish I had known that earlier.
This bridge is on my old stomping ground in north Northumberland near Wooler. My missus forbade me from continuing on my albeit tentative approach - there’s no way you’d get an XJ around the curve of the bridge.

Don't worry, you are not alone. But they are rarer than rocking horse poo in most areas of the country.

... and some of us aren't quick enough on the phone!

I’ve had four in rural Wales in six days (three above plus a white one that eluded identification). My XJ made five in these parts at least for a few days, must be something in the water over here!

I see quite a few in Cornwall & Devon, but when you bear in mind I've done 2000 miles so far this month just at work (even with two days off), it's perhaps not surprising..

Will try to make more effort to at least remember the time so I can interrogate my dashcam...
