jaguar know and admit there is an issue with this car but still take money from customers to fix a problem they cant resolve..
It is a common issue. I've spent the past month reading about it as my 2017 XE does the same. I've replaced a worn rear exhaust damper but some of the vibration is still there on cold start and low revs. It is going in the garage next week.Clearly the car was out of warranty. How old is it and what mileage ? There is a forum on here for raising an issue with JLR where a dealer would seem to have engaged in sharp practice. So far, I haven't had anything like this problem on my May 2017 XE, but it's not high miles. The problem with issues like this is there are no e-diagnostics. From what the dealer has told you, it is a fairly common problem. Have you looked on the other Jaguar forums to see if the same fault has been posted and what action cured it ?
It might also be prudent to find an independent Jaguar specialist near you and ask for a second opinion. You don't say where you are located, but if you do, then me and others on here can probably point you in the right direction.
I REALY WISH I KNEW THIS BEFORE BUYING MY JAGUAR. is it just the xe that has the vibration trouble . and can i check if the engine mounts are still holding pressure.
Sorry to hear of your issues Lesyes i certainly had an eye opener with jaguar and there customer service people . they just took the money ÂŁ1000 POUNDS . then didn't want to help me at all . now i know there is a problem with the car I'm not happy with it but ill have to live with it for a while . but ill certainly never get a jaguar car again. not worth all the haste. its a shame as the car is a lovely car to drive but there is just the vibration there on idle.
