XJ X351 Spotting.

Mac_Doc came up with this idea first, after his recent 800 mile drive. The X351 is not a common car, so you don't see many about. I recently did a 250 mile round trip via the M25 and M3, and only saw one on the way out and one on the way back. It might be worth posting when you see one, as it might be someone on this forum.

(PS. Downing Street/Westminster doesn't count!)
That was me Bob, but you were on the right track.

On that particular day, in all those miles I saw 2. I'm up for a game of 351 spotting and will add as and when

Try saying that about a Merc or an Audi, you can't go 100 yards without seeing one. I reckon out of all the Jaguar models there are lucky to be 3 in my estate (including my own) but can't go 2 or 3 houses without seeing a Merc or Audi.
PCP has a lot to answer for.
Absolutely 100 Glenn

All I could find on Google is that the total production figure is 122,330 units.
Most of these are probably in the US.
Yep, that's probably a given, they love their big luxury saloons over there, although can't imagine there being many / any diesels

Next, you'll be wearing anoraks and standing by the motorways with a notebook, to become "the lesser spotted Jaguar spotters".:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Not needed on the day....

Mental note to leave at home, have enough fingers and toes

There was a beautiful autobiography parked near my "normal" parking space in Asda - a mile away from the entrance and trolley parks.

Was going to park right next to it and take a pic but then thought that would be quite annoying for both of us!
No, that is not only allowed, but a must

As long as the regulation distance is observed

Jim

The only issue with that is when you park next to someone and they don't know what their driving. & they think you've lost a few screws.

You know, the non-forum types that only have them as a company car or are just not car people.
Lol spoke to someone exactly like that in Tesco car park, some months ago.

He was like, yeah, whatever, just a car to get me from A to B.

It did look like that thought to be fair, and hadn't been washed since visiting Z by the looks of it lol

So, I went to the NEC today for the Advanced Engineering Show. I got back to the car this afternoon and had gained a friend. So - at the risk of getting this thread back on topic:

Jeeesh, his parking skills leave a lot to be desired!

Swansea - Bristol - Swansea.... not a single lesser spotted XJ to be seen
I meant to say, saw one in my local Tesco the other day, just a glimpse

Looked to be a red R Sport as far as I could see, had a nice reg too something like T1 FSN although having checked that's not correct, unless, it's been stolen and had plates swapped.
